HOW IT WORKS

Decide once a week. Log in two taps at night.

Choose your drinking days and a daily target

01 · Start of the week

Choose your drinking days and a daily target

“Friday and Saturday, then rest.” Make the call at the start of the week, so on the day itself you just follow the plan. Next week’s suggestion is generated from what actually happened.

A 500ml beer can, a highball glass — tap a preset and it converts to grams of pure alcohol automatically. You can also log straight from the notification.

Money saved, calories avoided, good mornings counted. No scoring, no grading — just facts, accumulating.

NO PUNISHMENT

Break the promise, and the app
still won’t turn red.

Sobriety apps assume zero, and that doesn’t stick. Counter apps feel like a game. Medical apps feel heavy. Nomiyoubi is a tool for adults who want to cut back — with no punishment, no reset, no lecturing, anywhere in the app.

  • A day over plan is shown in amber, as a fact. Never in red.
  • The streak counts days you kept logging — not days you didn’t drink. Breaking it has no loss animation.
  • A day you forgot to log is never automatically marked as a drinking day.

Let’s reset today. Today’s target: 2 drinks

The actual notification sent the day after you go over plan. No scolding, no rehashing.

A week at a glance. Achieved = green check, over plan = amber triangle, alcohol-free day = blue crescent. Color and shape both carry the meaning.

A small win on the days you don’t drink.

Press and hold to declare “not drinking today.” Alcohol-free days leave a record of their own, too.

Stay on track, even on days you don’t open the app.

WIDGET

Add a drink from the home-screen widget. This week’s promise and today’s target, at a glance, without opening the app.

Dashboard (all time): money not spent on drinks, good mornings, and the monthly pure-alcohol trend

All-time dashboard (Premium). The monthly pure-alcohol trend grows as your log does.

70% of first drinks on over-plan days were strong-style canned cocktails.

Trends by drink type, calculated entirely on your device from your own log. No interpretation, no advice — just the facts, laid out.

Drink-type insights

Highball nights average 4.2 drinks; sake nights average 2.1.

Day of week by drink type, time of your first drink, patterns the day after an alcohol-free day. Noticing them tends to change how you choose.

Drink-type insights

September’s pure alcohol total was 320g lower than August’s. You kept the promise 3 weeks out of 4.

An automatic recap generated on the 1st of each month. It will say “lower” — it will never say “better.”

Monthly review

¥38,000 saved so far. 23 days to go until those headphones.

Pick one thing your saved drinking money is going toward, and watch the date recalculate from your actual pace. Breaking plan never subtracts from it.

Savings goal

Over plan on Friday, three weeks running. Next week's proposal: make Friday a drinking day and Wednesday alcohol-free.

Shows which weekdays tend to go over plan, as a fact, and proposes next week's day-by-day allocation from it. Accept or adjust with one tap. Your call.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is this an app for quitting alcohol?

No. You choose which days you drink, and follow through on that choice. Nomiyoubi is a logging tool that supports that cycle.

Can anyone else see my log?

No one can. There’s no account, no developer server, and no analytics SDK. Your log is stored only on your device, and you can export it as CSV at any time. Writing to the Health app is optional (off by default, write-only).

Should I choose the one-time purchase or the monthly subscription?

If you’ll use it long-term, the one-time purchase is cheaper after about 10 months. If you want to try it first, start with the monthly plan — you can cancel anytime from your iPhone’s Settings.

Will I lose my log if I switch to a new iPhone?

Restore from an iCloud device backup and your log carries over.
